Running parallel with foldable smartphone makers like Huawei and Samsung, Motorola is also working on a foldable smartphone called Moto Razr.
According to reports, Motorola’s foldable smartphone might be launched this November. This speculation is based on the invites regarding a Motorola product launch at Los Angeles.
Recently, several renders have also showcased some glimpse of how Moto Razr will look.
“You’re going to flip”, reads product launch invite
The word “flip” in the invite hints that Motorola is aiming to launch a foldable smartphone.
Therefore, the rumored Moto Razr or the next flip phone from Motorola will be different from the recent launches.
Predictable Specifications of Moto Razr
Processor: Moto’s flip/foldable phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset
RAM and ROM:
In terms of RAM, Moto Razr might come with 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage options.
As the Razr legacy suggests, the next foldable Moto Razr will be slim and compact. Thus, on the battery front, it might come with a smaller but efficient 2,730 mAh battery.
The smartphone might bring a dual display. The unfolded display might be 6.2-inch panel with 876 x 2,142-pixel resolution, while the outer panel may come with 600 x 800-pixel resolution.
It is expected that the upcoming rumored Moto Razr is expected to come in gold, white, and color variants.
Considering its cutting edge innovative design, Moto Razr may cost around $1,500.
It is expected to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X.
Some reports also suggest that Samsung is presently working on bringing a new foldable smartphone that may be launched in the next year.
